Damn I know libux trouble you are going through, I have a Dell a rebranded Lexmark z and I was never able to succesfully get it working well I lexmark z1300 linux it sort of “working”. I’m not going to give up on Linux this easily. You will save yourself a lot of trouble lexmarkk you return the printer and get a lexmark z1300 linux one all HP printers lexmarl out of the box.

lexmark z1300 linux Initially Linux was intended to develop into an operating system of its own, but these plans were shelved somewhere along the way. I don’t think i have ever gotten a Lexmark printer to work on a linux box without doing a ton of hacking lol,but oddly enough i have never had problems with canon printers Back then Lexmark provided a z driver but that has been removed from their site.
